In this 4-hour virtual event, explore simple shading strategies to make stamped images look dimensional and vibrant and how to pick color combinations that pop and harmonize on your cards. Whether you’re a seasoned colorist or picking up alcohol markers for the first time, this class is packed with color, creativity, and confidence-building techniques. Plus, you’ll have access to the class recording—watch anytime!

We’ll share approachable techniques for smoother blends, compatible color combinations, and adding depth and dimension so your cards turn out just as you hoped.

How do I tune into Summer School?
Summer School will take place on YouTube. Links for the event will be shared via the Summer School 2026 Facebook group and via email.
Is this class only for OLO Markers?
We will be using OLO Markers in the class instruction and will have OLO Markers available for purchase, but any brand of alcohol markers can be used to create similar results. Taylored Expressions will provide Summer School participants with suggestions for color matches for Copic Markers.
How can I get the OLO Markers used for the class?
A limited quantity of OLO Marker Bundles will be available at a 20% discount on the Summer School registration form. After those bundles are sold out, you are welcome to purchase markers individually on our website or request to be notified when our Summer School OLO Marker Bundles are back in stock.
How do I connect with other crafty friends attending Summer School?
Information on how to join the TE Summer School 2026 Facebook group will be included in your registration confirmation as well as sent via email shortly after registration closes.
Do I need a Facebook account to participate?
All participants are encouraged to join our Summer School 2026 Facebook group for updates, links to classes, and to connect with Taylored Expressions and other Virtual Stamp Joy attendees. If you would like to set up a Facebook account visit their Account Creation Page.
What type of device do I need to participate?
You will be able to participate using any device (computer, phone, or tablet) on which YouTube can be accessed. You will not need a microphone or a camera, but you will want to ensure you have speakers so you can hear the instruction. There is no special software needed to download or install in advance.
How much does shipping my class kit cost?
Domestic and International shipping fees are included in the price of the event. International packages will be shipped via USPS. Additional International shipping costs, taxes, and fees are the responsibility of the Summer School attendee.
When will class kits ship?
Kits will ship 2-3 weeks before the event.
Will the class recordings be available?
All links to classes and other information will be communicated to participants in the Summer School 2026 Facebook group and via email. The email you use to register for Summer School is the email address we will use to communicate all class information.
What supplies and/or materials do I need to provide?
Participants will need to provide basic paper crafting supplies, such as a stamping platform or MISTI, die-cutting machine, paper trimmer, scissors, adhesives, ink, handheld stamp scrubber or wipes, and a bone folder.
Is Summer School Refundable?
