Q: What does it cost to register for Stamp Joy?
A: General Registration for Stamp Joy costs $379 (with an Early Bird discount of $30 through July 20). If you would like to take the Stamp Joy Class, it will cost an additional $50.
Q: Why is Stamp Joy more expensive this year than it has been in years past?
A: Stamp Joy 2021 will be bigger and better than ever! As in years past, our goal is to provide participants with a world-class stamping experience. This year we’ll be gathering in a premium venue, the Iowa Events Center, for an “all-inclusive” 2-day format with goodie bags, exclusive products, numerous stamping opportunities, delicious meals and live entertainment included, plus much more! Stamp Joy 2021 is shaping up to be an amazing experience that will leave you inspired, connected and brimming with joy!
Our desire is to make the incredible Stamp Joy experience accessible to as many people as possible. Of course, curating an “all are welcome” experience like Stamp Joy comes at a cost. We want you to know that TE is absorbing as much of the cost as possible because we want nothing more than to provide you and your friends with the stamping experience of a lifetime! As a result, with the increased cost of providing such a high quality experience, we had to increase the registration fees.
Q: Can I use Crafty Points to pay for my Stamp Joy registration?
A: No. Unfortunately, they system we use for event registration is separate from our ecommerce website, so the functionality does not exist to allow you to earn or redeem Crafty Points with your Stamp Joy registration.
Q: Can I pay my registration fee in installments?
A: Yes! We received multiple requests for this option and we're pleased to announce there is now a way for you to pay your registration fee in two payments. Simply select the "Deposit Payment" option on the registration page - you will be charged 50% of your total now, while the remaining 50% will be automatically charged to your card on Aug. 6, 2021.
Q: How long is Stamp Joy registration open?
A: Registration will be open from 9 a.m (CT) on Tuesday, July 6, through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 6 (or until the event is full). Our Early Bird registration discount is being offered July 6-20, and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CT) on July 20.
Q: What are the different registration options?
A: You may register to attend Stamp Joy and enjoy all the benefits listed on our What's Included page for the base registration fee, or, for an additional $50, you may register for the event as well as the Stamp Joy Class.
Q: How do I register more than one person?
A: If you'd like to register yourself and someone else, the Registration Form will allow you to provide information for multiple registrants. To do so, first go through the form and provide the information and selections for yourself and click the "Save Registrant" button. A window will then pop up asking if you'd like to register another person. Click "Add Registrant" and provide the information and selections for the next person. Continue to do this until you have registered everyone, then click "Continue to Billing." You will then be able to see a full list of registrants and make a single payment to check out.
Q: What safety precautions are being taken?
A: We will be adhering to the safety guidelines posted by our venue, the Iowa Events Center. You can find more information here.
Q: What will the schedule be like?
A: A complete schedule will be provided to attendees closer to the event, but plan on classes and other activities being held from 8:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. (CT) on Friday, Oct. 8, and from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (CT) on Saturday, Oct. 9. Registration will open at 7:45 a.m. both mornings.
Q: What do I need to bring with me to Stamp Joy?
A: If you're planning to take the class, you'll need to bring everything on the Class Supply List. For those of you who just want to attend and do the Make & Take projects, all supplies will be provided. You should also plan to dress comfortably in layers, wear comfy shoes and bring a water bottle!
Q: Will there be a pre-event shopping discount period?
A: Yes! All attendees will have access to a special pre-event discount period the week prior to the event where you can order any crafty goodies you might need and have them waiting for you when you check in at Stamp Joy! Details will be sent out closer to the event.
Q: What if I get sick or can't make it at the last minute?
A: We certainly don't want you to come to the event if you're not feeling well. As for life emergencies - well, they happen! If something comes up and you can't make Stamp Joy but are past the cancellation window (see below), we will happily send you the materials and instructions for the projects you registered for (as well as your goodie bag!) so you can still enjoy the experience. Just contact us.
Q: Will someone be taking photos at Stamp Joy?
A: Yes, we love to take photos so we can share this experience with others! By registering for the event, you are agreeing to grant TE permission to record pictures of your participation by photograph or video. You further agree that any or all of the material photographed may be used, in any form, as part of any future publications or other materials used to promote Stamp Joy, and further that such use shall be without payment of fees, royalties, special credit or other compensation.
If you need to cancel your registration for Stamp Joy, you must contact us in order for any applicable refund to be processed.
- Cancellation requests received by Aug. 5, 2021, will be granted a 100% refund in the form of store credit.
- Cancellation requests received Aug. 6 - Sept. 9, 2021, will be granted a 50% refund in the form of a store credit.
- Sorry, no refunds will be granted for cancellation requests received on or after Sept. 10, 2021.
