Versafine Clair is absolutely the best black ink on the market. Wow. I could totally tell the difference on sharpness on my stamped images. This is my go to ink at the moment.

I reach for this ink pad whenever I want a nice, clean, crisp stamped sentiment for my card. This ink also stays wet for a little bit, so must be careful not to smudge. Also, because it does stay wet for a little time, it allows you to heat emboss black by using clear embossing powder. Great product!
