A Note from Taylor

Hi Crafty Friend! I’m Taylor VanBruggen, founder and Creative Director of Taylored Expressions. My love for crafting began at a young age when my mom introduced me to crafting. I’ll never forget how special it felt to create something by hand and share that joy with others. That first spark turned into making cards for friends, then blogging about my projects, and before long I realized my true dream is to share my passion for paper crafting and help others discover the joy of making something they love.

In 2008, I launched Taylored Expressions with a series of cupcake-themed rubber stamps (because who doesn’t love cupcakes?). Those first stamps opened the door to what TE is today: a colorful, curated collection of stamps, dies, tools, and supplies designed to inspire creativity. More than just products, TE has become a welcoming place for crafters to find ideas, encouragement, and community.

Over 15 years later, TE is still proudly family-run—my husband, Jon, leads as CEO, my sister keeps my craft room and designs organized, and my mom continues to be a source of guidance and inspiration. I’m grateful every day to design products I use myself, work alongside my family, and be part of your creative journey.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for the joyful impact we can make together with our TE fans and the global paper crafting community! Whether designing new products or making advanced techniques simple and fun, the TE family believes handmade cards are still one of the best ways to show you care.
