Our Metal Shim is designed to aid in cutting intricate dies in most die-cutting machines. When used in combination with your die-cutting sandwich (beneath the back of the die), it provides even pressure over the entire design, resulting in a crisp cut without the need for paper shims.

Please note, the Metal Shim may take on marks or become dented with use, but this should not affect the use of the product.

    This product greatly improved the way my die my cuts work. I highly recommend using the metal shim with all your metal thinlet dies.

    Love the way it cuts the fancy dies. One time through the die cut machine and your done.

    It works nicely. I've already put a design dent into mine as I'm not used to putting my dies face up with the paper on top.
