Our Metal Shim is designed to aid in cutting intricate dies in most die-cutting machines. When used in combination with your die-cutting sandwich (beneath the back of the die), it provides even pressure over the entire design, resulting in a crisp cut without the need for paper shims.

Please note, the Metal Shim may take on marks or become dented with use, but this should not affect the use of the product.

    It works nicely. I've already put a design dent into mine as I'm not used to putting my dies face up with the paper on top.
