I used to have a table with an art stay-tion, a black glass board, a self healing mat, and a stencil mat in each of the corners for use depending on the project. I picked the surface to use based on whether I needed ruler markings, a magnetic backing, or a blending surface. This Glass Mat replaced them all and I even eliminated a table from my work space. (Now there is room for more storage! (More Paper! Full Size Inks! Markers! Oh My!) Make sure you get a pack of magnets to go with it.

18 x 24 Magnetic Glassboard
Give this as a gift to yourself! I've had a black glass board for many years, but love this one so much better because you can see colors better against it. Also it's a bit deeper in size for that extra bit of working space. I'm LOVING it!

Glass Mat
This is a game changer. The size is perfect, the markings for the different sizes of paper is a great addition. I love how strong the magnets are, it holds my glue parts together to dry.

Love Love Love!
I have had the black Tonic/TH mat for a long while, but decided to get the TE one for a few reasons. 1 - I love the white background to see where the ink is. 2 - it's larger. 3 - It's magnetic. 4 - it's just pretty :) I love my new glass mat and can't recommend it more. It's an investment, but totally worth it. The grid marks are nice to have, the stencil guides are great and the color catcher area is fun too. A very well thought out tool!
