Celebrating Crafters Who Make Joy Their Mission

Creativity has the power to do more than make something beautiful. It can encourage someone who is struggling, bring people together, support a meaningful cause, mark an important milestone, and remind someone they are loved.

The Joy Makers Society was created to recognize members of the Taylored Expressions community who use paper crafting to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Do you know a crafter who makes and shares joy wherever they go? We invite you to tell us their story.

Nominations close Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM CT.

The Joy Makers Society is an annual recognition honoring members of the Taylored Expressions community who embody our mission of sharing joy through the art of paper crafting.

This honor isn’t about identifying the most experienced or accomplished crafter. It’s about recognizing someone who generously uses their creativity, time, and talents to serve others.

A Joy Maker might:

Create cards to encourage people during difficult times
Support a nonprofit, community organization, or meaningful cause
Bring crafters together and create a welcoming community
Teach and inspire others to discover the joy of creativity
Help people celebrate life’s milestones
Use handmade kindness to make others feel seen, supported, and loved

Joy can be shared in countless ways. We want to hear about the people who make it happen.

1. Share Their Story
Submit your nomination between August 13th and August 24th. Tell us who your nominee is, how they use paper crafting to serve others, and what makes their impact especially meaningful.

2. Meet the Finalists
Following the nomination period, a selection committee will review eligible submissions and select a small group of finalists whose stories reflect the heart and purpose of the Joy Makers Society.

3. Help Choose the 2026 Honoree

From September 3rd through 10th, the TE community (that’s YOU!) will be invited to meet the finalists, read their stories, and vote for the person they would like to see inducted into the Joy Makers Society.

4. Celebrate at Stamp Joy
The 2026 Joy Makers Society honoree will be recognized during the Friday Night Dinner at Stamp Joy on October 9, 2026 in Des Moines, Iowa.

The inaugural Joy Makers Society honoree will receive:

• A custom Joy Makers Society award
• Complimentary registration for this year’s Stamp Joy
• A featured story shared by Taylored Expressions
• The opportunity to help welcome the next Joy Makers Society honoree
• A donation made in the honoree’s name to an eligible charitable organization or cause connected to their story

Complimentary Stamp Joy registration is awarded only to the selected honoree. It is nontransferable, has no cash value, and does not include transportation, lodging, or other expenses associated with attending the event. The honoree is not required to attend Stamp Joy to receive the recognition.

Community voting will determine the 2026 Joy Makers Society honoree. Taylored Expressions reserves the right to review voting activity and address suspected duplicate, automated, manipulated, or otherwise improper votes on a case-by-case basis. In the event of a tie, the Taylored Expressions selection committee will determine the honoree.
