Easily cut out a whole series of 1/8" rectangular frames that perfectly fit Mini Slim Cards with our Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate. In one pass through your die cutting machine, the single die will cut out 12 frames that you can use individually or nest together for extra impact.
Individual die measures 3 1/2" x 6" (largest frame measures 3 1/2" x 6"; smallest frame measures 5/8" x 3 1/2").
Really a great idea. These finish off a card just perfectly.
Sadly... not the best product. And I love TE! I especially LOVE all of their Mini Slim products. However this plate does not make a clean cut, even when using the TE metal shim. TE cardstock is as thick as you can go, and even then I'm having to cut out sides of the frames with my X-acto blade. I have an Evolution Die machine and can adjust the pressure - still not good cuts without warping the cardstock. Works best with thin (less than 80lb) weight, but then you give up the dimension of a frame. Great idea, but cutting edges are not defined enough for consistent results during my use.
This plate cuts clean in one pass. I’ve used it over and over and have been happy every time.
It is handy to cut out multiple frames at one time to have them on hand for quick an occasion mini slim cards.
